'Gregory GG Griffith has been a band leader and production coordinator for live and studio production in South Florida for over two decades. Greg moved to Miami, Fl. in 1984 from his home town, Tampa, Fl. and began performing on the South Florida club scene as a bass player and lead vocalist looking for a new direction after leaving his original band "Trama" that he’d recorded an album for Spector Records and did extensive touring with in the early 80’s. Greg met Co-Producer James JT Taylor in the early 1990’s as a lead vocalist, keyboardist looking to work with new talents and began performing with Greg in various South Florida night clubs, weddings and corporate events through his company, Gregory Griffith Productions. Greg and JT quickly became a high demand package that expanded to extensive concert and studio performances with various local and national acts. In 1999, JT introduced Gregory to a new singer in town from Lufkin, Texas that had been working with him on a studio project as a lead and background vocalist named Rachel Brown who immediately began performing with Greg’s band, The Irresistibles. From that day in October 1999 to the present, Greg and Rachel have been truly and irresistible act. Rachel has a lot of natural charisma, a beautiful voice and physically irresistible presence. Rachel’s talents were discovered by her father at the tender age of three, who during Rachel’s youth was a professional sax player and band leader in the Texas area. Rachel’s and Greg’s powerful stage presence have created an irresistible chemistry that’s captured on their debut CD of favorite cover compositions. Their choice of repertoire reflects the diversity of Greg and Rachel’s talents as lead vocalist to meet the needs of the melting pot of cultural diversity in South Florida. From the dance classics of the 70’s to the true timeless standards performed, Greg and Rachel are truly one of South Florida’s premier acts to see.
